American flags atop the U.S. Capitol are being lowered to half staff in honor of the victims of the Boston explosions today

I am sad, and it is so disturbing, to see that there are people who continue doing things this evil…and that they are even capable. Makes my heart hurt.
I hope that the good people in this world can come together and do more to spread love instead of hatred.

As of now there has been no executive order from the President to lower our flags – We will keep you informed to the best of our ability.
Thoughts and prayers go out to the city of Boston.

Flags at half-staff following Boston explosions

WASHINGTON D.C. – The American flags atop the U.S. Capitol are being lowered to half staff in honor of the victims of the Boston explosions today.

The flags were lowered after two bombs exploded at the finish line of the Boston marathon. At least two people are dead, at least 124 injured.

Boston Police say it’s too early to get into specifics about the nature of devices or whether shrapnel was involved.

Police say no suspect has been taken into custody in connection with the explosions.
